Stono Ferry Golf Course, Hollywood, SC (Near Charleston, SC)
With three of the champion 18 holes on the Stono river, Stono Ferry (par 72) stands out as a great golf track filled with beauty, challenge and great golf course design. Unlike so many resort courses in the Lowcountry, Stono Ferry provides a country club setting (semi-private) while open to the public and reasonable green fees. There's plenty of sand, plenty of swamp and a beautiful neighborhood surrounding the course. The greens are relatively quick and roll true. The fairways and rough are well kept and the course plays fair to both the newer golfer and the low handicapper golf pro. Call 843.763.1817 for tee times and more information.
